Nestled along the rugged coastline of Vancouver Island lies Sombrio Beach – a perfect example of the unique beauty of The Pacific Northwest. This incredible beach played host to Maya, Nolan, and your trusty Vancouver Island photographer (it me!) on a stunning sunlit evening in March. I had so much fun capturing their love amidst the natural splendor of Vancouver Island.

What made this shoot even more special? Their fur child, Kuma joined in on the fun, adding the perfect dash of cuteness to the images!

As the sun dipped towards the horizon, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange, we frolicked along the beach, capturing photos as we went. From playful moments with their beloved pup to tender embraces against the backdrop of waves, trees and sand, every frame of this engagement photo shoot tells the story of Maya and Nolan’s love for each other.
