There’s something so timeless about wedding photos on the beach—especially when you have soft evening light, a quiet shoreline, and a couple as effortlessly stylish (and in love!) as Camille and Killian.
These two tied the knot in the early afternoon on a cement oceanside platform at Ross Bay Beach. It was an intimate moment with just their officiant and two close friends—no photos, just a private ceremony to start their marriage. Later that day, they met up with me at sunset for an hour of wedding portraits, and WOW… these two really brought the joy, the fashion, and the love.
We wandered along the beach and soaked in the golden light as it dipped behind the horizon. These two met in Victoria but now live in Montreal. I love that this place will always hold a special piece of their love story ❤️

Ross Bay Pebbles Beach is one of my favourite hidden gems for wedding portraits in Victoria. It’s quieter than many of the city’s beaches, with a beautiful mix of small pebbles, rugged driftwood, and rocky shoreline. The sun sets over the houses along Dallas Road, which makes for that dreamy golden-hour light photographers love (and couples look amazing in). There’s also a slightly wild, West Coast feel to the landscape that adds depth and texture to your photos—without ever taking the focus off of you.
Whether you’re eloping, doing post-ceremony portraits, engagement photos or just sneaking away for a moment during your big day, Ross Bay Beach offers the kind of natural beauty that makes every photo feel like a memory in motion.
